Yomiuriland opened on March 19, 1964 and marked its 60th anniversary on March 19, 2024. The park straddles Inagi City, Tokyo, and Tama Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Its flagship coaster "Bandit," opened March 25, 1988, reaches a top speed of 110 km/h with a 78-meter drop over 1,560 meters, a world-class specification at the time of its debut. The park's previous large Ferris wheel ceased operation on January 13, 2025, replaced by the 60-meter-tall "Sky-Go-LAND," which opened in October 2024.
