Oversized vehicles (campervans): The operator publishes nothing about oversized vehicles. We do not guess — call the facility before you go.
This German-themed facility in Ueno, Miyakojima City, traces its origin to a Meiji-era episode in which villagers rescued the crew of a wrecked German ship, and had its grand opening on July 12, 1996 (Heisei 8). Covering 123,431.22 square meters (37,403 tsubo), it has been operated as designated manager by Nansei Rakuen Resort Co., Ltd. since April 2012. It includes the Hakuai Memorial Hall, modeled on Germany's Marksburg Castle, the German fairy-tale-themed Kinderhaus, a chapel, a theater hall, a stage plaza, and the Refresh Park Pool. Entry to the grounds is free; the Hakuai Memorial Hall costs 750 yen for adults and 400 yen for children, with a combined ticket including Kinderhaus at 850 and 400 yen, and both the Memorial Hall and Kinderhaus close on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
