Shukutsu Marineland is an amusement park next to the Otaru Aquarium. The 2026 season runs from April 23 to October 12, closed June 11-12 for mechanical maintenance. Admission is free, with ride tickets costing 100 yen each (a 12-ticket booklet for 1,000 yen); some rides have height restrictions. The park has 12 ride types in total, including a large Ferris wheel, a pirate ship (Viking), go-karts, a sky lift, a chain tower, and a whale-shaped train; its long-running carousel was removed in 2018 due to aging.
