Toyohashi Zoo and Botanical Park (nicknamed "Nonhoi Park"), a Toyohashi City park that opened in 1992, spans 39.6 hectares and combines a zoo, botanical garden, natural history museum, and amusement park. The amusement zone has 13 paid rides, including a large Ferris wheel about 50 meters tall taking roughly 12 minutes per rotation, and a kids' coaster that replaced the previous jet coaster in 2015. The 400-meter sports go-kart track "Nonhoi Circuit" costs 1,000 yen per ride and is not included in the 10-ride one-day pass (1,000 yen for adults, 500 yen for children). Admission is 600 yen for adults and 100 yen for elementary/junior high schoolers, free for preschoolers.
