Mikazuki Mura in Yabuzuka-cho, Ota City, is an Edo-period-themed park that the former town of Yabuzuka Honmachi invited in after the 1971 TV period drama "Kogarashi Monjiro" became a hit. On entry, visitors exchange cash for the Edo-era "Kan'ei Tsuho" one-mon coin, used at in-village shops such as a hardware store, an inn, and a mountain-pass teahouse. The village includes trick-mechanism buildings like the Karakuri Yashiki, the Fukashigi Dozo storehouse, and the Kaiigendo cave, alongside a memorial hall for "Kogarashi Monjiro." Admission is 600 yen for adults and 300 yen for children (tax excluded); it is open 9:30-16:00, closed Fridays and December 25-30.
