This adventure-themed park makes use of an underground space discovered during the operation of the former Kuga Mine, themed on Mu and other super-ancient civilizations, displaying giant statues, murals, and ancient scripts. The mine tunnels run about 1 kilometer, connecting 15 zones -- including a temple hall and a mysterious lake -- through a maze layout, with gold-panning and gem-hunting experiences, a restaurant, and bathing facilities also on site. Admission is 2,600 yen for junior high age and up and 1,200 yen for elementary schoolers, free for preschoolers; last entry to the underground kingdom is 16:00, and it is closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and December 31-January 1. Parking is free, with the official site noting capacity for about 270 vehicles.
