This city-run children's park in Maebashi Park was established in 1954 (Showa 29). Since April 2004 it has been run by a designated administrator, and the nickname "Lunapark" was chosen through a public naming contest among citizens. Admission is free; large rides cost 50 yen per ride and small rides such as the electric merry-go-round horses cost 10 yen. Hours are 9:30-17:00 from March to October and 10:00-16:00 from November to February, closed Tuesdays (or the following day if Tuesday is a holiday).
