Oversized vehicles (campervans): The operator publishes nothing about oversized vehicles. We do not guess — call the facility before you go.
Koga no Sato Ninjutsu Mura, in Kamekura, Koka-cho, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, is a ninja-themed facility surrounded by the old-growth forest at the foot of the Suzuka mountains, established in Showa 58 (1983). It includes a "Karakuri Yashiki" trick house relocated from the actual former home of the Fujibayashi family, descendants of real Koga ninja, the Koga Ninjutsu Museum, which displays the "Bansenshukai," one of ninjutsu's three great secret scrolls, plus a shuriken dojo, a hands-on craft dojo, and Shinobi Shrine, dedicated to ninja. Admission is 2,000 yen for adults (18+) and 1,500 yen for children, including the Karakuri Yashiki and museum entry (1,800 and 1,300 yen for online tickets). Hours are 10:00-17:00 (last entry 16:00), closed Mondays, and all three parking lots -- 500 spaces total -- are free.
