Ikoma-sanjo Amusement Park sits atop Mount Ikoma at 642 meters elevation, opened in 1929, currently operated by Kintetsu Ikoma Leisure with more than 20 attraction types. Its "Hiko-to" (Flying Tower), also built in 1929, stands 30 meters tall and is considered Japan's oldest surviving large ride and the only remaining Doi-type flying tower, designated a Selected Civil Engineering Heritage by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers in 2021. Admission is free with rides charged individually; the park is closed every Thursday (except holidays) and for winter from December through mid-March. Visitors arriving by car take the Shigi Ikoma Skyline, paying the parking fee together with the toll at the exit tollgate.
