Hamanako Pal Pal is an amusement park on the shore of Lake Hamana in Kanzanji-cho, Chuo Ward, Hamamatsu City, operated by the Entetsu Group on a site of about 101,863 square meters. Its predecessor, Entetsu Kanzanji Amusement Park, opened in 1959; a major 1997 renovation gave the park its current name, and its in-house character designs were created by manga artist Takashi Yanase. Major rides include the mega coaster "Yojigen" (1997), the rapids ride "Don Braco" (1998), and the Ferris wheel "Coco" (renovated 2008). Parking for 800 cars and 11 large buses costs 1,000 yen per visit.
