Hai! Karatto Yokocho opened on September 14, 2013 and is operated by Sen-yo Kogyo Co., Ltd. Located on about 8,000 square meters in the Arukapoto district of Shimonoseki City, it centers on a 60-meter-tall Ferris wheel overlooking the Kanmon Strait, with 36 gondolas (four see-through), alongside 11-12 other rides. Admission is free, with per-ride fees and a one-day free pass available. The original 10-year contract had been set to expire on October 31, 2023, but on September 11, 2023 the city of Shimonoseki announced it would extend the agreement with Sen-yo Kogyo by three years.
