Amanohashidate View Land is a small amusement park atop Mount Monju in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture, which opened in May 1970 and is operated by Amanohashidate Sogo Kigyo. A chairlift and a monorail connect the summit to the foot of the mountain, taking about 7 minutes by monorail and about 6 minutes by chairlift. The park has around nine rides, including a Ferris wheel, go-karts, and cycle cars, and its observation area offers the famous "flying dragon" view of Amanohashidate, along with a platform for viewing it upside-down between one's legs. Admission is 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children (elementary school age), which includes the round-trip chairlift/monorail fare and is not sold as a one-way ticket -- a fee last revised on April 1, 2025, its first change in 27 years. The View Land's own parking lot has only 17 car spaces and 10 motorcycle spaces, charged 700 yen and payable only in cash.
