Okumino in five days — four big resorts, every day inside the driving budget

Four big Gifu resorts in one trip: Wing Hills Shirotori, Takasu Snow Park, Dynaland and Meiho. The outward and return nights are both at RV Park Hangout03 in Nagahama; the two nights up in the snow are at N.A.O. Akeno Kogen campsite, the only place in the area we could confirm opens in winter — it advertises “Winter Days, 1 December to 31 March” and has 26 powered pitches at 1000 W. All five days sit inside the three-to-four-hour daily driving budget. ⚠ Three campervan traps, all from official sources. First, the Wing Hills multi-storey car park stops at 2,400 mm, so our two large vehicles cannot enter — but car park 2 holds 600 cars at ground level, so you will not be turned away. Second, Dynaland's reserved spaces on the second floor are also under 240 cm; the 2,000 surface spaces are fine. Third, Meiho's price list charges ¥2,000 for “campervans of 5 m and over” — the Treasure 1 is 4.9 m, just under the line, so it pays the ¥1,000 car rate. ⚠ Meiho cannot be a night stop: the resort states that it clears snow at night and will not accept unattended vehicles, so the route leaves once the skiing is done. ⚠ N.A.O. states that snow settles on the site in winter and that winter tyres are mandatory. Driving times are OSRM × 1.2 campervan estimates on snow-free roads, not measured runs.
