Okuibuki in two days — the one resort that says yes in writing

The shortest ski trip from Osaka. Night one is at RV Park Future Resort in Nagahama — open all year, with the power hook-up included in the price — then you are on the slopes at Gransnow Okuibuki first thing on day two. Of the 27 resorts we checked, this is the only one whose official FAQ answers the question directly: yes, you may sleep in your car. The same site lists a ¥2,000 campervan parking rate, 24-hour toilets at car parks 3 and 4, and 24-hour access to the car park. For 2026-27 it opens on 13 November, the earliest in western Japan. ⚠ That same official page also says the car park is for skiers and that you may not leave a vehicle standing unattended. ⚠ This route is likely to use the Hokuriku Expressway between Kinomoto and Imajo, a national snow-chain control section where neither winter tyres nor four-wheel drive count on a heavy-snow day — tell us your itinerary when you book.
