Over the Naruto Bridge (鳴門橋) into Shikoku and anticlockwise all the way round: the whirlpools (渦潮), the Muroto (室戸) coast road, the Sakamoto Ryoma (坂本龍馬) statue at Katsurahama (桂浜), the chinkabashi (沈下橋) low bridges of the Shimanto River (四万十川), Dogo Onsen Honkan (道後温泉本館). The last day comes home through Kotohira (琴平) and Takamatsu (高松). The kind of round-island freedom only a campervan makes possible.
