It opens at Kinosaki Onsen (城崎温泉), then the sand of the Tottori Sand Dunes (鳥取砂丘) underfoot, a drive around the foot of Mount Daisen (大山), and a night by Lake Shinji (宍道湖) in Matsue (松江). After paying respects at Izumo Taisha (出雲大社), the trip signs off at Kirara Taki (キララ多伎) with the sun dropping into the Sea of Japan. Sanin (山陰) moves slowly, and it takes a campervan to understand that.
