Osaka to Mount Fuji and back: 7-day campervan trip (all four fifth stations)

Out from the Osaka depot, around Mount Fuji and back, seven days and six nights with every day inside a three-to-four-hour driving budget. ⚠ The honest part first: Osaka to Fuji is about 370 minutes one way (roughly 415 km), 55% over the 240-minute daily ceiling — which is why we do not sell a three-day Fuji trip. This route uses michi-no-eki Nishio Okanoyama as a staging point, with day one and day seven at about 205 minutes each: they are transit days and we say so. Day two drops to the Asagiri Highland, calling at Fujisan Hongū Sengen Taisha (head shrine of all Sengen shrines and a World Heritage component), and stays at Fumotoppara. Days three to five are the Fuji loop: Fujinomiya, Gotemba Shin-Gogome, Subashiri and Fuji Subaru Line fifth stations in one sweep, with Gotemba Premium Outlets, Hana-no-Miyako Park, the Narusawa ice cave and Nakanokura Pass in between. ⚠ The loop only works late April–end of June and mid-September–early November; from early July to 10 September every station except Gotemba is closed to private cars and you take a shuttle from the foot of the mountain, and from early November to late April the three Shizuoka-side roads are shut. Nights are at michi-no-eki and campsites; michi-no-eki are for rest and naps only. Driving times are OSRM × 1.2 campervan estimates.
