Around Mount Fuji: 3-day campervan loop (all four fifth stations)

All four car-accessible fifth stations in three days: Fujinomiya (2,400 m, the highest of the four), Gotemba Shin-Gogome (1,440 m, the only one with no private-car restriction), Subashiri (2,000 m) and Fuji Subaru Line (2,305 m). Day one covers the Shizuoka side, day two the east, day three the west — about 148, 130 and 124 minutes of driving, all inside a three-to-four-hour daily budget. Along the way: Gotemba Premium Outlets (the multi-storey car parks stop at 2.1 m; campervans use lots 場外１ and 臨時A), Hana-no-Miyako Park at Lake Yamanaka, the Narusawa ice cave, and Nakanokura Pass, where the upside-down Fuji on the ¥1,000 note was photographed. ⚠ The loop only works late April–end of June and mid-September–early November. From early July to 10 September every station except Gotemba is closed to private cars — you park at the foot and take a shuttle bus. From early November to late April the three Shizuoka-side roads are shut. Sightseeing at a fifth station itself needs no climbing fee and no registration. Nights only at michi-no-eki we checked for 24-hour toilets and no “no overnight parking” signs (rest-and-nap only). Driving times are OSRM × 1.2 campervan estimates, not measured runs.
