Awaji Island Loop & the Naruto Whirlpools — 2 Days

2 days, 1 nights ・ ≈276 km ・ 6h 02m driving (estimated)

Cross the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge (明石海峡大橋) and you're somewhere else entirely: the flower fields of Hana-sajiki (花さじき), the west-coast road, and an evening at Goshiki-hama (五色浜) watching the sun drop into the Seto Inland Sea before you turn in. Day two heads south to Uzushio (うずしお) for the Naruto whirlpools (鳴門渦潮), then seafood at Fukura (福良) and an unhurried drive back to Osaka. If it's your first time behind the wheel of a campervan, this is the one.
